Reaction of Carbodiimide

Carbodiimide group of CARBODILITE reacts with Carboxyl group as shown below.

Mechanism of hydrolysis stability

  • Reduction of initial acid value
  • Leaving non-reaction carbodiimide, and catch acid occurring over time

CARBODILITE is necessary to disperse in resin uniformly.
Recommend use after master batch and kneading by twin-screw extruder.
