Glass-like carbon coat (AC Coat)

Glass-like carbon coat (AC Coat) is a technique to make the combination of graphite particle secure and cover the surface of graphite by glass like carbon. Particular resin is soaked and coated on graphite base materials and it transformed to Glass-like carbon by carbonization. Soaking treatment for infiltrating and Coating treatment for closing surface pores are available.

Features

  • AC Coat prevents scattering dust from graphite material.
  • AC Coat prevents discharging gas from graphite material.
  • AC Coat prevents gas penetration into graphite material.
  • AC Coat can infiltrate into graphite material.
  • AC Coat prevents graphite material from reaction to metal or glass.
  • AC Coat is applicable to graphite products of various shapes.
